Well, what to say about myself. I transitioned about 4 years ago to full time, and dealt, with the knife 6 months ago. I must say I am very happy with my life. I have supportive friends and family, and there is a strong trans community in the Tampa area. I am an empty nester, as my baby is 22 and out in the world, very proud of him. I have been working for the same company for 4 years, and I find my work enjoyable and challenging. I am a 9 to 5 girl, who works in office setting. I love to dance and can blend into any social scene from dive bar to posh social events. I read people quickly, and am friendly to most, but only a few I let in close. Being trans does not define me, rather it is only a part of who I am. When I talk with folks, I tend not to disclose about myself, rather I talk about events of the day, or listen to their conversation and let them guide it's direction. I am a nerdy girl, who is into computers, and the sci fi, but I am also a Hallmark Channel junkie. I like to cook, cuddle on the couch, and enjoy the value of quality time. Dating for me is harder, I live in the straight world, and get attention, but I have a problem with making eye contact with those who are interested in me. I fear the moment going to far, and perceive them getting angry with me when learning about me. That is why I am on this site. You know what you are getting up front, which allows for the next step. Getting to know the woman, and moving to a stronger, deeper place. I am not a serial dater, rather I want a partner who I can laugh and cry with ... who I can make soup for when they are sick, and who will hug me when I am scared. I want the dream.
