Me describiría a mi mismo como
It's been a while since I have done this, and I always find it so difficult to begin the communication process. However, I will lay it all out to you now to let you decide if you want to pursue any further interest in me. Here it goes:
Well, I am 36 years old. I am a first generation American-Russian-Jew. I have a Bachelor and Master's Degree in Health Administration, and am also a nurse. I work for a large health insurance company as a Nurse Supervisor. I am also the vice president of a non-profit organization.
I have no time for stupidity, laziness, or ignorance. I need a partner that compliments me, and has self-confidence. I am an opinionated, straightforward person. I say it like it is, and don't have time to go around the bush with things; get over it if you don't like it, or move on. We spend our days always trying to do or say things just to not offend or hurt someone. Many find my direct manner of speech and even my actions as a little to forward and direct. Society focuses too much on the verbal and nonverbal manner of communication rather than on the words spoken or actions that must be taken. I spend my days at work reeducating people that clearly do not care about learning, or choosing to broaden their horizons; you can't teach intelligence to people that choose to be stupid. This is not a type of partner I need. We are given one life to make the best of what we have. Our parents bring us into this world, and provide guidance and instill morals and values within us. It is what we choose to do with that information to make our decisions and lead us on our path for happiness, in every aspect of life. I know what I want, and won't accept anything less. I need a partner that can sustain themselves, values family, and an education, strives for self-esteem and success. Success is not based or measured by the money one makes; it is about education, working hard to achieve self-fulfillment, being honest and respectful. We all make errors, and we should not look at them as flaws or blame them on others or ourselves. We should learn from our own mistakes to better ourselves, and to grow into a better person. I admit that I am not perfect, nor am I easy to get along with at times, but I do acknowledge my own problems, and will always try to learn from each experience in order to become better than I was.
In my spare time, I love to cook, go hang out with friends, go to the movies, dinner and amusement parks. I am not so into the club scene, but if I must go with my partner, then I will. Regardless of how busy I may get at times, I always try to make time for my partner and my friends, as they are the one’s in my life that make me happy.
I am a very goofy person. I do this as a means to relieve myself of the headaches and problems I experience from all of my duties/work. When I goof around, I act like I am a child, but I know when to stop, I think. I have two dogs, a Pekingese and a Chihuahua-Shepard mix (don't ask who did who); I rescued each. I am a very responsible and honest person. I do not believe in playing games and do not have time for it. I am seeking a long-term relationship, but I know it does not happen right away.
Therefore, if all you care about is sex, a guy with a perfect body, then I'm not the guy for you. I am a quality guy, and have no time to waste on a person that has not found foundation within themselves and a path to guide them to realizing the important things in life. As I said earlier, I'm 36, and cannot wait my entire life to find a partner that wants a long-term relationship, a home and family together; a 50/50 relationship and one in which we compliment one another.
