Drinks first...somewhere a little buzzy so we can people-watch, but mostly I'm going to be gently slagging you off 'cause I find you really hot and don't want to let you know yet. Dinner somewhere slightly dark and intimate, good food, but that's not the important thing...time has flown because we've spent it slagging and flirting. We talked about all the stuff that you're not supposed to. You've revealed a little more crazy than any girl should on a first date, but you're nice, funny and the prospect of kissing that neck of yours would let you away with blue murder. Suddenly we clock the fact that we're both pretty merry. The bill comes, I get it of course, in spite of your protestations but you're secretly delighted...no girl wants to be with a guy who lets her go dutch on the first date :-) But you promise to get the first round in. And you do...we head for drinks and somehow we're drinking Margaritas With Jaeger chasers. Bad girl! It's pretty loud where we are and you're mid-sentence telling me a moderately amusing story and suddenly I cut you off with a soft and brief kiss on the lips...it came from nowhere; you weren't expecting it, maybe you wanted it later but certainly weren't ready to let me know that. You gather your thoughts and see the cheeky look in my eyes... If you like our first date so far read on; if not please skip the next paragraph. Flash forward to the next morning, and we're piecing together last night. Back to mine for drinks. Dodgy music. Drinking vodka and sparkling water cause I ran out of mixer. Clothes in puddles on the floor. Bed. Kissing. and a little more, but not much; just as I promised when you said you don't go back to guys house's on the first date. Secretly we both think the whole night was amazing. Unusually easy but exhilarating. Then taxi home for you, you dirty stop-out. I hop back into my bed. I tell myself to at least play a little bit cool but the trace of your perfume on my pillow makes me all romantic so I text you anyway saying "You're pretty sexy for a minger." FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO SKIPPED THE LAST PARAGRAPH: Flash forward to the next morning, and we're piecing together last night. Back to mine for drinks. Dodgy music. Drinking vodka and sparkling water cause I ran out of mixer. Clothes in puddles on the floor. Bed.
