I am 5'6" tall, smile a lot and have a good (if not bizarre) sense of humour and I think I have green-ish eyes though I am sure you will tell me if I am wrong. Oh and bald is a bit unfair, yes I have my own personal solar panel but it doesn't cover the complete roof yet.

I have two children (one of each) who are grown up (age wise, not necessarily in temperament) and live away with their partners. In the past few weeks I have become a grandad to a wonderful grandson.

I like to think of myself as mature though some would say otherwise I am sure. Though I do like the outdoors (countryside and coast) don't just think that I am an outdoors kind of guy. As much as I like walking hand in hand and talking I also love a quiet night in chatting or watching a movie while cuddling with that someone special, especially after enjoying a good meal. I am as happy sharing room at Malmaison, a quiet country b&b, or snuggled up in front of a log fire.

I love travel abroad as well as in the UK and am as happy in the rain or snow as I am in the warm sunshine - after all there is no such thing as the wrong weather; just the wrong clothes for the weather at the time.

There is, equally, no wrong music - just music not suitable for a particular moment or mood. I love music of all kinds - indie, electronica-dance, drum-n-bass, rock, pop, folk, classical, etc. it just depends on the mood.

I believe that taking time is important: taking to time to relax; taking time to enjoy life; taking time to make sure my partner has all she needs and knows that she is my focus. And time to act like a gentleman and treat you with respect, honour and courtesy.
