I am an open-minded adult looking to find and meet other open minded adults for friendship. A number of years ago a chance encounter with a transwoman led to a friendship and exposure to a community many people never get the opportunity to experience.

I am in my late 30s, college educated, and just recently retired from one professional career and am exploring my options for a second career. I would love to meet someone else who is educated and works as a professional.

In terms of interests, mine are too broad to be covered completely here. I enjoy a little of everything from cooking to classic rock and beer to politics. I enjoy a dressed up night out as well as a relaxed night at home, as long as it is spent with good company.

I generally connect with people that are self-confident and motivated. While formal education is good, I care more about intelligence and the ability to converse. Also, I tend to be sarcastic so a sense of humor is a must.
